Hargitay and his bully boys threaten
free speech . . . again

Peter Hargitay, the bogus World Cup bidding ‘consultant’ who took Australian taxpayers for suckers is using his bully-boy lawyer Rod Christie-Miller to try and stifle reporting about his ‘colourful’ past.
Bamboozled Aussies shelled out a big bag of dollars for the Swiss-Hungarian conman – who got them only one vote from FIFA’s 22 dodgy bosses.
The Australian bid team of billionaire Frank Lowy (is there a Westfield shopping mall near you?) big bumbling Ben Buckley and out of his depth press briefer Rod Allen forgot to tell local reporters that their ‘strategist’ Hargitay had previously got the bum’s rush from England’s Bid team after he demanded £4 million – with no receipts – claiming he’d use it to bribe FIFA crooks.
Lasana Liburd, that fine reporter from Trinidad, watched the stumbling performance of the visiting England 2018 bid team as they attempted to get the vote of FIFA’s top ticket tout Jack Warner. In their best colonial masters style they snubbed Liburd’s reasonable questions – making asses of themselves.
DON’T MENTION WHITE POWDER!
Liburd had observed Hargitay in Trinidad advising Warner how to sabotage the English campaign. But when Liburd wrote about the debt-dodger - and his seven-month vacation in a Miami jail - for the highly-respected Play the Game website in Denmark, the synthetic wrath of professional intimidators Schillings was unleashed on him.
They trotted out their long past-its-sell-by-date claim that Hargitay is a ‘well-regarded and successful businessman.’ Knowing that won’t stand up to scrutiny Schillings lurched off the planet into irrelevant screeching about me (Jennings) and my ‘false, one-sided and damaging assaults on our client in the past.’ Quite what I have to do with Liburd’s elegant reporting is not made clear.
And a few days later . . . they’re at it again! As I discovered last year, Schillings never send one letter when, presumably, two will earn them twice as much.

Despite Schillings’ violent language the Liburd article is here and remains on the Play the Game website. Readers are invited to copy it and upload world-wide.
The buggers won’t ever sue me – or anybody else. They know – and I know – and Peter Liar knows – that he can never risk going in the witness box because inevitably, while the world giggled, he’d struggle not to perjure himself.
He’d also be revealed as a demented jerk writing increasingly puerile and abusive letters to Australian and British reporters who question his supposed expertise. Hardly the smooth PR and ‘crisis manager’ he markets himself as.
Few judges would want to wade through Hargitay’s self-regarding, semi-literate dementia, all hung around his world view that ‘Mine is bigger than yours’ – and all copied to the increasingly rewarded Rod Christie-Miller.
Back to the future: Where have the Aussie tax dollars gone? Perhaps to the conman’s Cyprus bank account before being suit-cased to another of his other offshore accounts.
For sure they won’t go to repay a US$2 million debt to a Swiss investor in one of his failed enterprises. The only business ‘success’ that Hargitay can claim is avoiding repaying that debt for more than a decade, even going so far as fibbing to a court that he lived outside its jurisdiction.
Schillings claim in their first revelatory letter, ‘Our client has substantial investments.’ So he could pay his debts if he wanted.
